Waypoint 34,ESSEF, Semi-professional fishing boat, Nieuwpoort
The ESSEF, a Waypoint 34 built in Poland commissioned by the Belgian shipyard "North Sea Boating", is a vessel adapted to fishing on the North Sea.
The very spacious aft deck (24m2) is immediately noticeable, this deck covers 2/3 of the total surface of the ship. The crew can move safely from bow to stern, even around the wheelhouse under the shelter of the high freeboard.
Central is a large bench, with a bait tray underneath. In the port and starboard cabinets there is plenty of storage space for the fishing equipment, everything is functional and spacious. At the very back there is a large hatch that gives access to the hold where again there is a lot of storage space.
In the wheelhouse there are seats with a dining table and small dinette with Isotherm fridge. A double bed is provided at the front of the nose.
The ship is equipped with a very reliable Volvo penta TAMD 75 that delivers a power of 480 HP. Together with the special shape of the hull (a deep V-angle at the mirror), this engine ensures a cruising speed of 28 knots with a stable course even in rougher weather.
This Waypoint 34 is a good, solid and quality finished "fishing boat". It is a No-nonsense vessel of Belgian origin that amply surpasses the French or English offer.
