Cygnus Marine was a shipyard based in Canvey Island, England. They were known for producing commercial fishing boats, particularly the Cygnus GM32 series. These vessels were designed for various fishing activities, including trawling, codend fishing and gill net fishing.

Cygnus Marine has a reputation for producing sturdy and seaworthy boats suitable for challenging conditions. Their boats are often used by professional fishermen and organizations involved in commercial fishing activities.

Although Cygnus is no longer in business today, their boats still live on in many ports around the UK and the molds continue to produce vessels of excellent quality under various brand names

Based on the popular and successful semi-displacement CYFISH hull design, the new molded 'PILOT' superstructure model is aimed at the discerning owner who wants to use their craft year-round in most conditions.

'Kostoo' was purchased by the first owner as a hull hull and fitted out by him as a high quality finished private yacht.
